€1,200 is nothing to sneeze at, and prospective foldable phone buyers who are already reluctant to commit to this new foldable technology won’t find anything appealing about the Moto Razr (2022) if they’ve already passed on the Samsung Flip series. Yet, according to the latest, the device is coming to Europe for a higher price than Samsung’s solution. So, the Razr (2022) doesn’t tickle anyone’s nostalgia bone to justify its high price, and it can’t really outshine the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in terms of features and the overall user experience. It can’t come close to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in terms of durability, and the phone runs MYUI 4.0 rather than One UI 4.1.1. As mentioned before, the phone lacks water resistance, it doesn’t have an armor aluminum frame or UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass), and there are no Flex Mode software features to maximize the advantages of the flip form factor. As for specifications, the Moto Razr (2022) has higher resolution cameras than the Galaxy Z Flip 4, but not much else.
